The kindergarten Christmas party will be a joint party with both classes coming to school at 8:00 a.m. Parents may join us in the Fellowship Hall about 9:00 a.m. Students should bring a $5.00 gift on Thurs. or Fri. of next week. If parents want to bring things for the party, please let me know or sign up on the sheet by our classroom. Separate class treats may be passed out to take home if you would like to do that. We will be done by 11:00 a.m.

The children did a great job with their parts in the Advent service. Thank you for working with them to learn their parts.

We will try to go outside for recess whenever possible - weather permitting. Please send boots if there is snow on the ground, but also, please send shoes to wear in the classroom. Boots should not be worn in the classroom - they get too warm and they make puddles of melted snow!

There will be no school Dec. 21- Jan.1 for Christmas break. Classes resume on Mon. Jan. 4.

Wednesday, Dec. 9 is the date for the Advent services that kindergarten will be doing. KAM is doing the 10:00 a.m. service and KPM is doing the 7:00 p.m. service. KPM students should meet in our classroom by 6:45 p.m. that night. All students are expected to participate. (This is our "Christmas program".) "Nice" clothes should be worn - there is no specific color or style that needs to be worn. Parents and others are welcome to attend. The services will be in the church.
Please work with your child on learning the words to the songs and recitations.

Our Christmas party will be a joint party for both classes on Friday, Dec. 18 from 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m. Both classes should come to our classroom at 8:00 a.m. We will move to the Fellowship Hall later for our party. Each child should bring a $5.00 gift. Boys bring a boy gift and girls bring a girl gift. Do not bring the gifts until Thursday or Friday of party week, please. Parents are welcome to join us about 9:30 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. Next week I will send home a list of items that we could use for our party.

This month's book order has a short amount of time to order so that we can get the books before we leave for our Christmas break. Let me know if any of the orders are meant to be gifts.

KPM does not have school this Friday, Dec. 4th. KAM has regular class hours.

P.E. may not be held on a regular schedule because of Christmas practices.

Travel back in time and experience an interactive journey to the Streets of Bethlehem this Fri. Dec. 4 from 6:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. or Sat. Dec. 5 from 5:00 p.m. -8:30 p.m. Journeys take place continually throughout the evening.
